In 2018, Casino Reinvestment Development Authority has invested over $10 million to renovate the area.

For years, people attending events at Historic Boardwalk Hall have been greeted by a dark, uninviting lobby.

Designed by SOSH Architects, the intent was to make the hall more inviting while providing more visual interest and create a space that could be used for public events.

The lobby renovation is one of largest projects at the historic facility since a $90 million facelift in 2001. The project converted the facility into a modern sports and entertainment center holding as many as 14,000 people.

Challenge

This project had quite an unstable schedule with multiple holds and budget constraints.

Initially planned to be completed on a short 4-months timeline, it ended up taking over a year from the signed contract to the final installation.

Our Solutions

Zone Display Cases collaborated with SOSH Architects and with L. Feriozzi Concrete Company, the General Contractor, to complete this project.

Zone Display Cases has shown a lot of flexibility and have adapted their schedule as we went along with this project and brought all necessary changes as requested by the client and Architects.
